DIWA handed over the Position Paper on Access SHR Services of Women and girls with disabilities

DIWA organised breakfast meetings in Bulawayo (on September 16th) and in Harare (on September 22nd) to share their position paper with relevant authorities.

The contents in the position paper are not only only complaints, but proposed solutions as well. The position paper is not airing the views of DIWA, but it is a collective voice from the concerned stakeholders. Some of the issues raised on the Position paper include: limited availability of services, physical barriers, inadequate skills and knowledge of health workers in disability matters, access to information, just to mention a few.

A detailed position can be viewed on our website as well.
